WHERE
The Mid-Autumn Festival here we go again. I don’t remember when until that poem I wrote had found me, invoking the memory on that day, the same moment and the same night. I was looking at the lake while my pen and paper had found each other, starting to dancing…
Not for a while, my paintings had found their match for the poem, forming into the theme “The Poem & The Arts”. Click the song below and enjoy it.
WHERE
Written by BubbleSwan
Pack my things and reach for the world beyond,
The whole I am looking for is you.
Where the horizon vanished there were you,
Where the end of the sea there was I.
As lights find the night,
The drift bottle I tossed out is the last one.
Floating on the sea up and down,
Watching it dying in there,
My heart follows up as well.
Get up and begin to wonder,
Through a road that all day long.
As the night rest on my heart,
I sit on the edges of the night,
Awaiting the shadow of the moon,
Awaiting you to be formed by the water.
And loneliness has found you,
I cannot reach you.
I hear your whispers, tiny little ones,
But where have you been?
The breeze scatters leaves all over the lake,
Messing up my minds,
And blurring the beauty of you.
As the surface of the water go in still,
There lies the moon,
Quietly and deadly.
When the dawn falls in,
Pack my things,
Seeking for you,
Drizzling all the way down.
Still no sign of you,
Oh, the rain is weeping.
Where are you?
Where have you been?
It’s you I am expecting the most.
To stop the rain together with me,
To ease the pain of the rain,
I stood praying alone.
The tears of the rain were dried by clouds.
Pack my things and leave for now,
You are the reason I am searching for.
Wherever you are,
Wherever you have been,
I will look for you everywhere.
Only the god knows,
When shall we meet?
And yet I know one thing,
I will always by your side,
Always have always will.
